Peter Campbell is an artist, a student of the horse, one of the very few horse trainers today who actually has made his living on horseback. Some call it ‘Natural Horsemanship’; Peter calls it simply understanding why and how the horse operates. Incorporating his life experiences along with the heritage of the vaquero, Campbell is able to bring his students over 25 years of practical learning and horse wisdom.

A.M. Foundation Horsemanship/Colt Class

The foundation Class, is sort of a 'catch all' class.  It's a great way to refine and perfect your ground work.  Learn the philosophy and get a better understanding of why the horse reacts the way he does.  If you have a horse that needs some restarting or has some quirks and troubles...this is the class for you --- rebuild your foundation so that the horse will have a chance to understand 'things will be alright' !  New to horses, timid or new to clinics....let this be your 'starter'-- Peter will guide into understanding the hows' and why's of horsemanship!

The Foundation Class is also an excellent class for those needing to start green colts. Since our round pen is located in close proximity to the riding arena, all clinic participants can join in a collective learning experience in the A.M. class.

This class is designed as a confidence builder for both you and your horse. As many of you know Each Foundation Class Peter teaches is completely different, as it is based on the students and horses in the class, everyone will learn a great deal. In this class students will start with groundwork, then transition to learning in the saddle. Peter is always open to starting a few colts in this class and helping with troubled horses.

P.M. Horsemanship I Class

The students gain a new understanding of their horse -- how they move, why and when to direct.  This class helps horse and human gain confidence, safety and the ability to understand the horse.  Remember horsemanship is easy -- get the horse to want to be with you whether you are on the ground or on his back!!!

It doesn't matter which class you ride with Peter, he is there to give you as much  information as possible...so be ready to become a sponge and soak it all in!  And remember...we are here to learn about the horse and become a better partner to the horse, so enjoy yourself, leave your stresses behind and let Peter and the Lost Buckaroo Ranch take you on a 4 day educational, inspirational, exciting journey to real horsemanship!!!!
